So I’ve become something of a reader. Not a “real” reader, one who consumes books like Nibbler eats sandwiches, but rather one who reads regularly on the subway. Im not going to lie, I’m going to miss that hour of reading every day once I move. Hopefully the habit will stick.

In an effort to do just that, I’ve put together this list.

A bit of explanation: I ran into the biography/ memoir section of a book store the other day and was overwhelmed with how many of them I wanted to read RIGHT NOW. One of my favorite things is autobiographies, biographies and memoirs. The voyeurism of seeing intimately into someones life whom I admire is evocative of seeing a Vermeer in person, as though I’m being ushered into private moments otherwise unseen; OR I’m nosey and like knowing the dirt on my heros. 

Its probably the second one.

Any-who, after my confrontation with the table at the shop, I decided that after  I finish the book I’m devouring now (Julian Fellowe’s Snobs, which is delightful,) Im going to go on a full-on, voracious biography diet. I cannot WAIT to jump in! We’ll see how many i get through in three months :)
